The Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean Bernt Aasen will pay a two-day official visit to St. Vincent and the Grenadines from tomorrow.
Mr. Aasen will be accompanied by Kin-Sandi Lwin, representative for the Eastern Caribbean Area.
The two-member delegation will visit several Government Ministries and communities, to assess UNICEF’s programme support to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
At the end of the visit, Mr. Aasen will join with Government officials to host a joint News Conference to give a summary of his visit.
The News Conference will take place this Thursday March 19th from 8:15am at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Transport and Works.
Apart from the UNICEF delegation, Chief Education Officer Lou-Anne Gilchrist and Senior Education Officer, Gwenette Cambridge will also be in attendance.
