The Chateaubelair Health District is hosting a week of activities to observe Vaccination Week in the Americas, which runs from April 25th to May 2nd, with the slogan: Boost Your Power

Today, the Nursing Staff, from the district, along with Pre-Schoolers ct will attend a Church Service at the Church of God Worldwide Mission at Petit Bordel.

Tomorrow, there will be educational sessions at the Spring Village, Coull’s Hill, Troumaca, Rose Hall and Chateaubelair Health Centres.

Other activities planned for the week include a sports day at the Chateaubealiar Playing Field on Wednesday, and a workshop at the Pentecostal Church in Chateaubelair, for Pre-School Teachers in the Chateaubelair Helath District.
Since it began in 2003, Vaccination Week in the Americas has taken the benefits of vaccination to more than 519 million people in the Western Hemisphere.

More than 60 million girls, boys, men and women in 45 countries and territories are expected to get vaccinated against measles, rubella, polio, pneumonia and other diseases as part of Vaccination Week in the Americas, the flagship regional initiative of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).
