Nurses in St. Vincent and the Grenadines have been commended for their continued commitment to strengthening and improving health care services in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The commendation came from Chief Nursing Officer Peggy DaSilva during her address to declare Nurses Week open.
She said Nurses are considered as one of the most critical groups of healthcare providers.
In examining the status and condition of the nursing profession, Ms. Dasilva said citizens must pay attention to the challenges faced by Nurses on a daily basis.
Ms. Dasilva also pointed out that greater efforts must be made to deal with Chronic Disease and care for the elderly here.
