Miss Leeward 2015 Competition

Six contestants will be vying for the title of Miss Leeward 2015, on Friday June 5th at the Petit Bordel Hard Court.

The show is one of several events put on by the North Leeward Sports Association for Carnival 2015.
A release from the Association says this year’s Pageant has been expanded to include contestants from South Leeward, Central Leeward and North Leeward.

This Sunday 31st May, the contestants will be on parade from Questelles to Fitz Hughes making stops in the areas where they reside.

The contestants are: Miss Questelles-Camille Cammiasha Myers; Miss Layou-Lanesha John; Miss Barrouallie-Brean Gloster; Miss Rose Hall-Philicia Whitney Ashton: Miss Chateaubelair-Zeshain Adams and Miss Fitz Hughes-Melony Woods

The contestants will compete in various categories, including Swimwear, Eveningwear, Talent, and Interview. A number of awards will also be given, including the Miss Congeniality Award, the Most Community Spirited, Facebook People’s Choice Award and the Ms Photogenic Award.

The 2015 Miss Leeward Pageant will be followed by J’Ouvert from Petit Bordel to Fitz Hughes starting at 4:30am on Saturday June 6th as well as an Evening Street Party from 3:00pm.
