The Minister of Culture, Cecil “Cess” Mckie has reiterated that Vincy mas 2015 was a huge success.
He made this statement during today’s sitting of the House of Assembly.
Minister Mckie said that the Carnival Development Corporation along with private promoters, patrons, the airlines and other stakeholders all joined together to produce an exceptional festival.
The Minister also commended the local Artistes for a job well done during Vincy Mas. He announced that a number of the local Artistes will be part of a delegation which will visit Haiti in the upcoming weeks for CARIFESTA.
He also extended best wishes to the Starlift Steel Orchestra, which is at this time representing St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the International Conference and Panorama (ICP) in Trinidad and Tobago.
