Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said efforts are being made to relocate the Public Library at Grand Bay, Canouan, which is in a state of disrepair.
He spoke of work being done in this regard while responding to a question in Parliament on Tuesday.
Dr. Gonsalves said the authorities have been unable to relocate the library because of difficulties in acquiring a suitable space on the island.
Dr. Gonsalves said remedial work will be conducted on the current facility prior to the relocation of the library.
