The Unity Labor Party (ULP), under the leadership of Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, now has its own headquarters.
The party recently concluded a purchase agreement for the property at Murray’s Road, which has been used as the party’s headquarters from 2005 under a rental agreement.
Speaking at a celebratory event at the headquarters on August 12th, Dr. Gonsalves said the property was purchased at a cost of 1.2 million EC dollars.
Dr. Gonsalves said four longstanding members of the party including him have been named as trustees of the property. The other trustees are Sir Vincent Breach, Sir Louis Straker, and the Hon. Senator Julian Francis.
