There were victories for Circumstance, Carlos James Peto Stars, defending champions the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police and Robertson’s Surveying Future Legends of Rose Hall at the weekend, in the VINLEC North Leeward Twenty/20 Cricket Championship at the Petit Bordel Playing Field.

Circumstance defeated North Stars by 8 wickets. The scores: North Stars 152 for 3 off 15-overs, Lindon James 53, Elron Lewis 36, Delorn Johnson 30, Circumstance 156 for 2 off 14-overs, Omar Tucker 62 not out, Hank Hall 36 not out, Desron Maloney 30.

Carlos James Peto Stars won from Carlos James Rose Bank by 16 runs. The scores: Peto Stars 205 for 5 off 20-overs; Vidal Edwards 64, Ronique LaBorde 44, Shaman Hooper 43; Keiron Caesar 3 for 27, Rose Bank 189 off 19.2-overs; William Edwards 35; Ronjell Small, Kesrick Westfield, Shaman Hooper, Ronique LaBorde took two wickets each.

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police beat Petit Bordel Secondary School (PBSS) by 5 wickets. The scores: Petit Bordel Secondary School 99 off 16.5-overs, Cylon McKie 33; Kenneth Dember 5 for 7, Police 100 for 5 off 9-overs, McLeon Williams 26; Jadiel Chance 3 for 19

And, Robertson’s Surveying Future Legends defeated Ajuba of Spring Village by 3 wickets. The scores: Ajuba 155 for 9 off 20-overs; Harley Skeritt 50, Walliston Stapleton 33; Benniton Stapleton, Shangi John and Veonson Stapleton took 2 wickets each.

Robertson’s Surveying Future Legends 156 for 7 off 19.2 overs; Elmore Robertson 27, Calvert Wyllie 25, Rajiv Roberts 22, Winston Samuel 21 not, and there were 49 extras also.
