Venezuela’s Foreign Affairs Minister Delcy Rodriguez made an official visit to St. Vincent and the Grenadines on August 19th, as part of a regional tour to drum up support for her territory.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves was engaged in discussions on a range of matters with the Foreign Minister during the one day visit.
The Prime Minister told Reporters that talks were held on a number of Regional and Bilateral matters including the territorial dispute between Venezuela and Guyana.
Meanwhile, speaking through an interpreter, Foreign Minister Rodriguez said her visit here, is part of continued efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Foreign Minister Rodriguez was also taken on a tour to the Argyle International Airport site.
