Chief Cultural Officer, Anthony Theobalds said it is time for persons who want to host activities as part of the 2015 Independence Month Calendar to begin submitting their programs to the Department of Culture.
He pointed out that they want these submissions to be sent early as this year they want to ensure that the activities are spread throughout the entire month and not just at the end of October.
Mr. Theobalds said after the Independence Parade on October 27th the Association of Music Professionals (SVGAMP) will be holding a grand celebration dubbed Inde-Music Festival at Mount Wynne.
He said this program promises to be special for all persons who attend.
Mr. Theobalds made mention that the traditional activities which are organized by the Ministry of Culture are well underway. However, he is not yet sure about the programs which are being planned by private promoters and organizations.
