Concern has been expressed here about the fact that St. Vincent and the Grenadines has been placed on theTier-2 Watch list of the United States report on Human Trafficking.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Camillo Gonsalves expressed his concern last week during the opening of a two-day training seminar on Human Trafficking.
Sixty Police Officers participated in the Seminar, which was organized by the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Unit of the Police Force in collaboration with the National Task Force and the National Working Group against Human Trafficking.
Delivering the Keynote address at the opening, Minister Gonsalves said this country has again been placed on the Tier-2 Watch list despite the work the Government is doing to tackle Human Trafficking.
