The Layou Seventh Day Adventist Church says it will continue with its Public Outreach program this Saturday at the Layou Waterfront.
Member of the Women Ministries Department at the Layou Seventh Day Adventist Church, Lucreta Simon says they will be hosting a food sale to raise funds to assist a number of members within their church who are less fortunate.
She says this comes as they continue their preparations to their flagship Banquet on October 27th, Independence Day, and the funds which they raise will go through their sister churches to provide relief supplies for the people of Dominica affected by the passage of Tropical Storm Erica which caused significant destruction in that country, last month.
Mrs. Simon outlines some of the food which they will have for sale this Saturday and she is appealing to members of the public to support this initiative.
