Efforts to establish a Sexual Assault Unit within the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force moved one step closer yesterday following the donation of a quantity of equipment.
The donation, comprising computers and networking equipment, was made by the York Regional Police Department out of Canada.
In Presenting the Equipment, Vincentian-born Toney Browne, Staff Sergeant of York Regional Police, said the equipment is intended to assist with the establishment of a Sexual Assault Unit in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Commissioner of Police Michael Charles, expressed gratitude for the donation.
