The Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Jerry Williams, 36 years labourer of Redemption Sharpes.
Police say Williams died in an incident which occurred at Murray’s Village about 7:00pm last Sunday.
Reports are that the deceased was walking along the Murray’s Village public road, when he was approached by an unknown assailant, who opened fire at him.
He sustained several gunshot wound to his head and subsequently died on the spot.
A postmortem examination is expected to be performed on the body.
