President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Co-operative League, Kelvin Pompey says the local Credit Union Movement now has assets amounting to over three hundred million dollars.
Mr. Pompey made the disclosure, as he addressed the launch of activities to mark Co-operative Month on Monday.
He said the Movement has also amassed savings in excess of over three hundred million dollars.
He said members of the League have a responsivity to identify the needy within the society and extend a helping hand
