The National Insurance Services, NIS will host its Pensioners’ Appreciation Day today, as part of its ongoing effort to enhance its services to the elderly
The NIS says the Pensioners are being recognized for laying the foundation for the Social Security System in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as their significant contribution towards nation building.
Today’s Ceremony will be held at the NIS Headquarters beginning at 9am under the theme “Recognizing, Respecting and Reconnecting Retirees”.
The event will hear addresses from the Chairman of the NIS Board Lennox Bowman; and the Deputy Director Dr. Mineva Glasgow.
The Feature Address will be delivered by Prime Minister and Minister of Social Security Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.
