The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of two men from the areas of Belvedere and Peruvian Vale.

Twenty-four year old Barnet Junior McKie, unemployed of Belvedere, died from a gunshot wound in an incident which occurred at about 9:10p.m. on Wednesday.

And … William Jacobs, 50yrs, labourer of Peruvian Vale, which occurred at Peruvian Vale, between 4:30 p.m. on 08.10.15 and 9:00 a.m. on 09.10.15.

Reports are the deceased lifeless body was discovered lying on the beach.

Meanwhile … The police are investigating a motor vehicular accident which occurred at Bridgetown public road yesterday.

Motor vehicle H 3315, an omnibus was travelling to Kingstown when it ran off the road and overturned.

Several passengers sustained injuries about their bodies and was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

And … The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fire, which destroyed the section of a building at Questelles approximately midnight Thursday, October 15th, 2015.

The fire reportedly gutted the top wooden floor section of the building. This section was used as a bar and waiting area.

The ground floor concrete area of the building housed the office of Unity Labour Party’s (ULP) South Leeward Area Representative, Senator Jomo Thomas. This section was not damaged.

The wooden and wall structure was owned by Robert Cottle, who is deceased. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
