Six finalists have been selected to compete in the Finals of the 2015 Lions Club South, LIME and NIS sponsored Secondary Schools National Public Speaking Competition.
The finalists are:
Aaron Weekes St. Vincent Grammar School
Jaykel Mars Bishop’s College Kingstown
Nadia Rogers Mountain View Adventist Academy
Shemar Dennis West St. George Secondary School
Deandre Quashie Georgetown Secondary School
Delano King Troumaca Ontario Secondary School
The finals will take place at the Methodist Church Hall on Thursday 5th November from 7:00 p.m.
The Finalist will discuss the topic: “Our Approach to Homosexuality is a Reflection of our Failure to Embrace Diversity and Greater Tolerance for People who are Different”.
