Residents of the Government’s Green Hill housing project are expressing gratitude to the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force for providing some form of security to the area, which the residents say turns pitch black on evenings.

Speaking with NBC news recently, home owner Raston Deshong says while the saga continues as to who exactly is responsible for the installation of street lights in the community, the regular patrols by members of the police force provide some relief to residents.
