A medical team from the Taiwan Chung-hua Christian Hospital will be in the state from November 16th to December 5th.
A release from the Embassy of the Republic of China on Taiwan says the team, led by Dr. Nina Kao, will comprise three Doctors, two Nurses and one Health Information Specialist.
Since the beginning of this year, the Chung-hua Christian Hospital has been working closely with the Ministry of Health Wellness and the Environment to improve this country’s Health Information System.
The collaboration is focusing on interface-related issues, developing tele-medicine, and sharing experiences on legal aspects of health information.
During the visit, the Taiwanese team would host a joint News Conference with officials from the Ministry of health Wellness and the Environment.
The Media Briefing is slated for Wednesday November 18th at Basil’s Bar in Kingstown, from ten in the morning.
