Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has confirmed that SVG’s newest political parties do not have direct access to the same duty free concessions on election paraphernalia, as the two mass political parties here.
In responding to a question posed by NBC news at a media conference on Monday, Prime Minister Gonsalves said there are no legal requirements in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to form a political party; and, as a result control mechanisms must be put in place to avoid abuse of the system.
