After two months on the run, 29-year-old Denzil Sam also known as Scammie of Ottley Hall is now in police custody.
Sam was caught by Police on Thursday, armed with a firearm and seven rounds of ammunition.
Police say Sam was wanted in connection with an attempted murder two months ago.
He appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Friday and was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on December 15th.
Sam is accused of shooting Dexter Rodney of Rockies at Rose Place on October 1st.
Besides being charged with attempted murder, Sam was also charged with having a .380 pistol in his possession with seven rounds of ammunition.
The Police say checks were made at the Traffic Department which deals with firearm registration and it was revealed that Sam is not the holder of a firearm license.
