The opposition New Democratic Party (NDP) says it will be contesting the Central Leeward Constituency results .
In a Facebook post, the NDP says it is not over; as the party will be recounting the Central Leeward seat, specifically at the Layou Police Station.
The NDP is also urging persons to make their way to Layou this morning, as they make a stand for democracy and for a free and fair election.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves dispute the claim by the NDP of winning the Central Leeward seat.
Dr. Gonsalves says while the 2015 General Elections campaign was a hectic one, he has always maintained that the 8 seats the ULP held were secure.
Dr. Gonsalves says the ULP has doubled its majority over last election in Central Leeward, with a lead of 314 votes.
