There were victories for Richmond Hill United, Nice Radio Clinchers, Gairy Construction Simple Boys and Stingers last weekend in the National Lotteries Authority Top Belair Progressive Organization (TBPO) Twenty/20 Softball Cricket Championship at the Dauphine Playing Field.
Richmond Hill United defeated Gomea Bombers by 18 runs. The scores: Richmond Hill United 147 for 6 off 20-overs, Gomea Bombers 129 off 18-overs.
In the 1st Semi-Final, Nice Radio Clinchers beat Richmond Hill by 2 runs. The scores: Nice Radio Clinchers 92 off 17-overs, Richmond Hill 90 off 20-overs.
Gairy Construction Simple Boys sealed a 7 wicket win over Stingers. The scores: Stingers 96 for 8 off 20-overs, Gairy Construction Simple Boys 101 for 3 off 8.5 overs.
And, Stingers beat Richmond Hill United by 6 wickets to clinch the 3rd Place Play-off. The scores: Richmond Hill United 65 off 17.3-overs,
Stingers 71 for 4 off 12.3 overs.
The Final is scheduled for Saturday at 1:30 pm to be followed by the Presentation Ceremony.
