Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has received congratulations from his St. Lucian counterpart on winning the December 9th 2015 General Elections.
St. Lucia’s Prime Minister, Dr. Kenny Anthony, said that Dr. Gonsalves’ success is unprecedented and by all accounts, a magnificent victory.
He added that Dr. Gonsalves has written a new chapter in the history of electoral politics in the region.
According to Dr. Anthony, the results demonstrate that the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines retain trust and confidence in the Prime Minister’s vision and stewardship of the nation and of the economy.
The St. Lucian Prime Minister further stated that he looks forward to continued close collaboration with Prime Minister Gonsalves in the mutual interest of the two countries.
Dr. Gonsalves has been Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines since 2001.
