The National Insurance Services (NIS) says it has a wide range of programs to implement during this year as it continues to enhance the services which it offers to its contributors.
This statement was made by Executive Director of the National Insurance Services (NIS), Reginald Thomas as the institution celebrates its 29th Anniversary of Service to Vincentians under the theme “Resilience and Sustainability”.
Mr. Thomas said this year they will also be pressing forward with the Pension Reform Program as they seek to have the public more involved in all that they do.
Mr. Thomas added that last year they were able to sign and ratify a convention with the International Labour Organization (ILO) to further ensure the Social Protection of workers in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and he noted that this work will continue during this year.
