Last’s winner Alexandria Bacchus, of the St. Joseph’s Convent Kingstown tied with Rockwell Lewis of the Intermediate High School. For The Frequent Participant Award in the Secondary School Bible Quiz (SSBQ) for 2015.
Bacchus received a book, Picture Postcard of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and $400.00 while Lewis got an ISound speakerphone system and $300.00.
The Acute Cosmetics Beginners Award went to Matthew Richards of the St. Vincent Grammar School who received a trophy and $500.00.
Kyla Millington of the St. Joseph’s Convent Kingstown winner of the monthly Quiz for December 2015 also received her prize.
Organizer of the quiz Joel Jack also announced that the two major awards will be presented at the St. Vincent Grammar School’s assembly on Monday January 11, for being the most Outstanding School and the Distinguished Graduate award.
He said as of this month, the monthly winners will receive an increase in their prizes – which include a Bible, $200.00, an Acute Cosmetics’ gift-voucher valued $200.00. There will also be a wrapped gift for the winner’s parent.
