The University of the West Indies Open Campus will hold its Annual Recognition of Graduates Ceremony at the Methodist Church Hall on Friday January 15th at 9:00 am.
A release from the Open Campus says twenty nine (29) persons who have successfully completed their course of study at all four campuses of the University, will be formally recognised for their academic and professional achievements in various disciplines.
These include Medical Sciences, Management Studies, Education, Accounting and Natural Sciences.
Entrepreneur and Scholar Dr. Jacqueline James-Lyttle, will deliver the feature address at the Ceremony, while Head of the Open Campus, Deborah Dalrymple, will lead the Academic Procession.
Director of the Open Campus Country Sites, Dr. Francis Severin,will perform official duties on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor.
This year’s Valedictorian is Jason Frederick (a BSc.Management Studies Graduate with First Class Honours).
