Traffic police in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are appealing for greater responsibility among the public while on the roads.

And Sergeant Henry Providence says the police will be implementing measures to increase police visibility this year.
The Traffic officers also say they would like to have in place legislation that would give the police more teeth to combat cases of people driving while under the influence of alcohol.
