Vincentians are being invited to attend a one-day National Symposium and Honey Show, which will be hosted by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Beekeepers Association tomorrow, from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at the National Insurance Services Conference Room.
Allan Williams- Beekeeping Extension Officer in the Ministry of Agriculture, today told NBC News that persons can expect to hear a report on Beekeeping in SVG. He says the event is being held under the theme: “Growth and Sustainability of the bee keeping industry in SVG.

Meanwhile, Public Relations Officer of the SVG Bee Keeping Association- Philmore Isaacs says tomorrow’s event seeks to better inform Vincentians on the importance of bee keeping in SVG.
There will also be brief remarks from Minister of Agriculture- Saboto Caeser. The Special Guest Speaker will be Valma Jessamay, an Outstanding Beekeeper from Grenada.
