Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Luke Browne, said the government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has made significant gains in reducing child mortality figures.
He made the point during his contribution to the debate on the 2016 Appropriation Bill in Parliament this week.
Minister Browne said while the figures are commendable, there is still room for improvement.
Minister Browne said this is the result of the government’s thrust to improve the delivery of pediatric health-care services.
