The Victoria Park will come alive on May 7th with the official launch of Vincy Mas 2016.
Chairman of the Carnival Development Corporation – Dennis Ambrose said that the launch will give the public a glimpse into what is in store for the 2016 festivities.
Mr. Ambrose noted that he is expecting the “usual massive crowd”, and encouraged Vincentians to support the rural carnival activities.
Mr. Ambrose also appealed to the public to support all carnival activities, noting that carnival is the premier tourism event here and is important to the economy of SVG.
Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer of the CDC- Ashford Wood, said that the Vincy Mas parade, which was initiated last year, will continue this year.
He said the parade will take place on Saturday May 7th. Mr Wood also provided an overview of the activities that will take place at the launch of Vincy Mas 2016.
