West Indies Women marched into the Final of the ICC Women’s World Twenty/20 Cricket Tournament after a six-run win over New Zealand Women in the 2nd semi-final at Mumbai, India today.
Final scores: West Indies Women 143 for 6 off 20-overs; Britney Cooper 61, Captain Stafanie Taylor 25, Deandra Dottin 20; Sophie Devine 4 for 22.
New Zealand Women 137 for 8 off 20-overs; Sara Mc Glashan 38, Amy Satterthwaite 24, Sophie Devine 22; Captain Stafanie Taylor 3 for 26.
Britney Cooper was the Player of the Match.
West Indies Women will now meet Australia Women in Sunday’s Final at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
