Minister of Ecclesiastical Affairs St. Clair Prince has restated the Government’s commitment for the Digicel Gospel Festival, which was officially opened on Sunday night at the Victoria Park.
The Festival, which is into its 14th year, is a month long festival of Zonal Gospel Showcases across St. Vincent and the Grenadines with performances in Music, Song, Dance and Drama.
Minister Prince commended the Organizers of Gospel Fest, which he said plays an important role in the Vincentian society.
Meanwhile … Minister of Culture Cecil McKie said that the Gospel Festival has been added to the Ministry’s Calendar of Activities because of its importance.
The 2016 Festival is being held under the theme “Blessed is the Nation Whose God is the Lord”
