A series of activities will be hosted by the New Kingstown Chorale this year, to celebrate its 60th Anniversary, which will be on April 17th, 2016.
The activities will open with a Church Service on Sunday April 17th, and the Chorale will host a News Conference on Monday April 11th to unveil the full programme.
The News Conference will be held at the Methodist Church Hall in Kingstown from 9:00am.
The group started in 1956 as the Kingstown Chorale Group and was later re-named the New Kingstown Chorale.
It is comprised of approximately 40 persons and has performed
throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the wider Caribbean.
The group was part of this country’s contingent to CARIFESTA in Cuba and also in Guyana; and has also performed in the UK, Canada and the USA.
