The Ministry of Transport and Works says the demolition of a number of Government buildings in Kingstown is progressing smoothly.
Project Manager for Demolition Works on Government Buildings at the Ministry, Alista Browne tells NBC News the Contractor has already demolished the Old Electoral Building and they are currently working on the old National Mobilization Centre.
He says they will then move on to the Old Treasury Building and the old Printery.
Mr. Browne notes that the Contractor is working assiduously and they are expected to have this work completed before the three months scheduled period.
