The Miss SVG 2016 contestants will be engaged in a series of activities this Saturday to mark the official launch of Vincy Mas 2016.
This statement was made by Chairperson of the Beauty Shows Committee at the CDC, Cheryl Rodriguez during a Press Conference hosted by the Carnival Development Corporation yesterday to update Vincentians on preparations for this weekend’s launch of Vincy Mas.
Mrs. Rodriguez said the Contestants will be a part of the Celebration Train which will start at the Cruise Ship Terminal and ending at Victoria Park for the Launch of Carnival.
She said there will also be a special segment where the queen will be sash by their sponsors, after the sashing, patrons and fans will be given the opportunity to take selfies with their favaourist contestants in a ‘my queen’ photo session
Mrs. Rodriguez said following this weekend’s launch the contestants will continue with their preparations for the highly anticipated Miss SVG 2016 Pageant which takes place on Saturday June 4th at the Victoria Park.
This year’s Pageant will be held under the theme: Thirty-one Years of Exquisite Pageantry.
