MovieTowne Heads To St. Vincent And The Grenadines

Executive Chairman of the DaChin Group of Companies, Derek Chin has announced that MovieTowne will soon become a part of the St. Vincent and the Grenadians landscape, with plans to expand his cineplex chain to this country.

The DaChin Group Comprises Multi-cinemas (MovieTown) which operate in Guyana and Trinidad, as well as the Trinidad operation ‘DaChin Enter-prises’ and Trinbago Commercial Development Company.

Chin, a Guyanese born business man who resides in Trinidad was speaking at a news briefing organized by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves on Tuesday June 21, 2016.

Chin said that the enterprise will create good sustainable jobs and it will be something of which this country can be proud.

He expect the start-up can be as soon as next year.

In his comments Prime Minister Gonsalves said that when the Argyle International Airport becomes operational, it will create a gateway for the setting up of the MovieTowne Cineplex and other businesses on the portion of land now occupied by the E.T Joshua Airport.
