Pearl Williams, local Mas Band Leader and organizer of the Miss Big and Beautiful Pageant, has been selected to receive the Extraordinary People Award in Florida United States, this Saturday.
The Extraordinary People Awards is held annually to recognize extraordinary international leaders who serve others through community service or Philanthropy across the globe. This is the second year a Caribbean person has been awarded.
Mrs. Williams was selected specifically for the work she has been doing with the Miss Big and Beautiful Pageant. She said that it was quite an achievement and thanked Julian ‘Pilling’ Pollard and the Government of the St. Vincent & the Grenadines.
