Two men have been arrested by police in connection with last week’s shooting which occurred in the Fair Hall area and resulted in the death of ten month old Ozarie Lee of Fair Hall.

Police said 45-year-old Farmer, Martin James and 29-year-old labourer Ricardo Mc Fee both of Villa, were arrested yesterday and charged jointly with the murder of the infant.

Both accused were also charged with the attempted murder of 27-year-old babysitter of Fair Hall, Shelly-Ann Durham and 39-year-old Audio Technician of Fair Hall Mozart Lee.

Ten month old Ozarie sustained gunshot wounds to his stomach and succumbed to the injuries. Durham and Lee also sustained gunshot wounds about their bodies and Lee is still a patient at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

Both accused men were scheduled to appear at the Serious Offences Court today.

Meanwhile, police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 74year-old resident of Georgetown, Errol Sutton, which occurred about 12:05 p.m. yesterday.

The Police said reports are that the deceased was walking along the Stubbs public road when he was attacked and sustained several gunshots about his body. He subsequently died and a postmortem examination is expected to be performed on the body.

Police said this latest murder takes the homicide figure for the year to 23.
