* Yesterday’s 1st Quarter-final League match of the Hairoun Stubbs Football Championship between Volcanoes and Carapan FC at the Stubbs Playing Field was postponed because of rain. That match will now be played on Sunday at 2 pm.
At 4:30 pm today, Ghetto Stars will meet Hairoun Groove Street Ballers in the 2nd Quarter-final also at the Stubbs Playing Field.
* Sion Hill thumped Prospect United 8-nil yesterday afternoon in the Premier Division of the COMSPORT/KPMG/Hairoun Arnos Vale Football League at Arnos Vale (2) Playing Field.
The goals were scored by Orlando Webb (3), Domani Fernandez (3), with one each by Zeddy Millington and Jomin Mc Kie.
* This afternoon, System (3) will meet Toni Store FC in another Premier Division match at 4:30 also at Arnos Vale (2) Playing Field.
* It took the sudden death stage to decide yesterday’s match between the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police and St. Vincent and the Grenadines Port Authority in the Digicel/Aeropost/St. Vincent Brewery Breakaway Firms Invitational Knockout Football Championships at the Grammar School Playing Field.
The teams were goalless at the end of regulation time, 4-all after penalty kicks, after which the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police scored in sudden death to clinch a 1-nil win.
* This afternoon’s match at 4:30 will be between BMC Combined and Customs and Finance in another Senior Division Knockout Championship match also at the Grammar School Playing Field.
* Emerald Stars and North Leeward Predators will meet in a quarter-final match of the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Barrouallie Football League at a quarter past four this afternoon at the Kearton’s Playing Field.
* Country Meet Town Out-Ah Trouble are through to the final of the Hairoun Richland Park 9-a-side Football Championship following a 2-1 win over Tallawahs on Tuesday afternoon at the Richland Park Oval.
Country Meet Town Out-Ah Trouble will now meet Richland Park Pride and Joy (1) in the Final scheduled for Sunday.
Before that, Tallawahs and Everready Downstreet will play against each other in the third place play-off on Saturday at 3:30 pm.
* The Presentation Ceremony will follow Sunday’s Final.
