The Local Met Office said a trough is forecast to move across the Lesser Antilles by tonight and linger into Friday.

The forecast is for cloudy conditions, pockets of moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms activity.

Current model projected rainfall is approximately two inches, with higher amounts in mountainous areas

Residents living in areas prone to landslides and flooding are therefore being advised to be vigilant and exercise caution.
