A Postmortem will be carried out today on an elderly woman who was found dead in her Troumaca home on Monday afternoon.
Police said the woman identified as 66 year old Gloria Pompey was discovered by her relatives, just 24 hours after they had visited her home.
Ms. Pompey who resided in Trinidad for a number of years, returned to St. Vincent and the Grenadines 5-6 years ago.
The Police told NBC News the cause of death is not yet clear, and investigations are continuing.
