Preparations are in high gear for the staging of the 2017 AMP Awards, slated for tonight at the Signature Events Centre, located in Arnos Vale.
Tonight’s Event is expected to open at 7 with a red carpet event, while the presentation of awards will commence at 8.
Oronde ‘Bomani’ Charles, President of the Association told NBC News that they are ensuring everything is in place erecting the final components for tonight’s show.
Mr. Charles is encouraging Vincentians to show their support by attending tonight’s show.
Among the 27 nominations that will be awarded will be Best Hip Pop and R and B single of the year, Best New Artiste, Best Vocal Collaboration, Best Male Ragga Soca Single of the year, Best Female Vocal Performance of the year, Song writer of the year and producer of the year, Best Riddim Track and Best Christmas Single of the year.
