An official ceremony was held today for the handing over of ten school buses and agricultural machinery to the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, compliments the Republic of China on Taiwan.
The ceremony was held at the E. T. Joshua Apron with addresses from Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines; Der-li Liu, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China on Taiwan; Saboto Caesar, Minister of Agriculture; Julian Francis, Minister of Transport and Works.
These ten school buses cost the Government over two million dollars.
