Minister of Transport and Works, Julian Francis has said rehabilitation work is scheduled to begin soon on the main road in Union Island.
He made the disclosure as he responded to a question in Parliament last week.
Minister Francis said the road project has been identified among others in the Northern and Southern Grenadines to be addressed by the end of this month or early in October.
He said the project will be funded under a 2.5 million dollars programme for which the Government has already received funding.
