Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Israel Bruce, has rejected claims that the Canadian farm workers program will be cut, stressing the government’s commitment to protecting benefits for daily paid workers.
Speaking at a recent consultation hosted by Attorney General Hon. Louise Mitchell, Minister Bruce said he plans to travel to Canadian farms to secure additional contracts for Vincentians.
