The New Testament Church of God, SVG is shipping off a quantity of food items, including bottled water, to Tortola today.
The Church says the items were contributed by members of its 22 congregations throughout the country.
A financial contribution to go towards the rebuilding effort in each of the affected countries will be made later this week.
The Church’s effort to assist affected persons will continue over the coming weeks and beyond, including this Sunday at each of its locations and from adherents and supportive business houses.
There is a New Testament Church of God congregation in 22 communities throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines at which contributions can be made.
The New Testament Church of God congregations in St. Lucia and Dominica will be making their contributions later this week.
