Just Graduated Combined, All Saints University and Year Two Technical and Vocational gained victories yesterday afternoon in the French Verandah/ National Lotteries Authority St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College Divisional Football Championship at the Sion Hill Playing Field.
Just Graduated Combined defeated defending champions, Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies 5-2 in a Group B match. Kewon Clarke converted goals in the 6th, 37th and 42nd minutes, with Kevin Samuel and Ronaldo Franklyn netting a goal each for Just Graduated Combined. Omar Cupid netted the 2 goals for Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies.
Year Two Technical and Vocational had a 1-0 win over the Division of Teachers and Nursing Combined after a goal in the 20th minute from Zaide Boastwaine.
Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies completed a 3-1 win over All Saints University. Mc Pherson Uzokalo, Emmanuel Obonniya and Prince Lasiuke scored for All Saints University. Hosni Chandler netted for Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies.
The second round of the Championship will begin on Tuesday.
