The SVG Teachers Union is seeking to provide a leadership development experience for Educators with the hosting of a Leadership Training Seminar today.
The Seminar is being held under the theme “Embracing the Leader in All of Us,” and is looking at topics such as ‘Discovering Yourself and the Next Step’, ‘Team work and Team Building’, ‘Negotiation Skills’, and ‘Getting the best out of Meetings: The Basics of Parliamentary Procedures’.
In her address at the opening ceremony, President of the Teachers Union, Wendy Bynoe said she is hopeful that the training will enhance the leadership and management skills of the participants as they strive to build the Union.
The training exercise is being held at the National Insurance Services (NIS) Conference Room.
